Joe Nabbefeld is a licensed real estate agent who has worked in Seattle
real estate for more than 10 years. He is a certified sales professional and has completed
the LEED certification course. He has lived in his house in Seattle's Central District for
10 years. Joe has focused on buying and selling condominiums, existing homes, new
construction and townhomes in Seattle's urban center neighborhoods including Eastlake,
South Lake Union, Downtown, South Downtown, Ballard, Fremont, the U District, Capitol Hill,
the Central District, Leschi, Madrona, Beacon Hill and the International District. Before
joining GreenWorks, Joe worked in downtown development with Gregory Broderick Smith Real
Estate (now Urban Visions). He has managed two of his own multifamily development projects
over the years and provides consulting on development projects. Joe is a founder of the
Seattle Great City Initiative and of the local chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He
serves on the board of the Chinatown International District BIA (he is Public Safety chair),
as well on the board of the Middle-Income Housing Alliance. Joe worked as a journalist for many
years, writing and editing newspapers throughout the country. In Seattle he worked for the Seattle
Times and Microsoft, and you may know him for being real estate editor for both the Daily Journal
of Commerce and the Puget Sound Business Journal.
